The Accounting Department’s function is to maintain the financial system for all the City’s functions and to accurately record all receipts and disbursements for goods and services. Maintaining the accounting system and related reporting in accordance with accepted accounting principles . The Department provides actual and budgetary reports to all departments and prepares the annual CAFR (Comprehensive Annual Financial Report).
