From the Director — Jason Riddlespurger
As the Director of Community Development, I am honored to lead a team dedicated to uplifting and strengthening our community, particularly by serving our low-income households and vulnerable populations. Our department's mission is to improve the community, alleviate poverty, and find lasting solutions to homelessness, and we work tirelessly to make this a reality.
We offer a range of services designed to support those in need, from rent assistance and homeowner repair programs to park improvement projects that enhance neighborhood spaces. We are also deeply committed to addressing homelessness, with initiatives that aim to provide both immediate relief and long-term solutions.
Every project we undertake is driven by our belief that a strong community is one where everyone has access to safe housing, green spaces, and the resources they need to thrive. We encourage you to explore the programs we offer and discover how we can assist you or how you can contribute to the well-being of our community.
Thank you for visiting our website, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or ideas to share. Together, we can create a more inclusive, supportive, and thriving city.
