Mitigation/Prevention
Preparedness
Response
Recovery

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

CERT empowers volunteers to assist their community during disasters by teaching essential skills like fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and basic medical aid. This national program ensures volunteers are ready to support professional responders, allowing them to focus on more complex tasks. With CERT training, volunteers are better prepared to respond and recover from disasters, making their communities stronger and safer.
