Alcoholic Beverages

If you have a business that is licensed by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC), located inside Amarillo, then the Amarillo Municipal Code requires you to obtain a city alcoholic beverage license issued by the City of Amarillo. The State will require you to obtain the City Secretary’s signature for their application. The first step is to apply for these licenses and bring the State paperwork and City fees to the City Secretary's Office.

one-half the fee
paid to the State
for such permit

 

*As of September 1, 2023, Senate Bill 577 in the Texas Legislature is changing licensing fees for alcoholic beverages and food hygiene licenses issued by the City of Amarillo. To read more about this change, please visit the following news release:
