The City of Amarillo wants to be accessible and responsive to its citizens.
The Office of Public Communications and Community Engagement is responsible for marketing the City’s services and programs in creative and innovative ways that appeal to the needs of its citizens, making it easy for everyone to be informed, involved, and up-to-date on the work of our City government. In addition to communicating with the general public and business community, the Public Communications and Community Engagement office serves as the initial City contact liaison for all media inquiries, along with select public or community resident inquiries, questions, and concerns about City issues, operations, programs, and services.
For all non-public safety media inquires, please call Dave Henry, Communications Manager at (806) 378-5219 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Amarillo Police and Fire departments have separate Public Information Officers that serve in a similar capacity.
