I Need Help with Rent...

The Housing Choice Voucher Program, funded by HUD, assists low and moderate-income families in renting housing by subsidizing a portion of their rent. Participants can choose their housing, including single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments, with the subsidy paid directly to the landlord by the Amarillo Housing Authority. The program maintains a Wait List due to limited resources, with status announcements made through various channels.
