The Planning & Zoning Commission makes decisions and recommendations related to community land use, development, subdivision, and zoning regulations.

Meeting Information

  • The first Monday and 3rd Monday of the month. (If a holiday falls on either of these days the meeting will moved to the Wednesday following the holiday.)
  • 3:00 pm
  • City Council Chambers - Third Floor of City Hall 601 S. Buchanan St., Amarillo, TX 79101.

The Zoning Board of Adjustments hears variance requests, appeals, and special exceptions to the Amarillo Zoning Ordinance. Their decisions help address unique circumstances while upholding the intent and integrity of zoning regulations.
