Laboratory Administration is a Division of the Water Utilities Department. Modern Environmental Regulations require significant support from environmental monitoring and testing. This may involve drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, and industrial wastewater. As these environmental work areas became required over time, our city centralized them as a coordinated group of environmental programs at the Environmental Laboratory facility. Laboratory Administration also serves many other departments in the city with support for both State and Federal requirements.
A Grease Trap Interceptor Program is under development across the 2018-2019 federal year.
Each of these Environmental Programs ensure our citizens are safe and the city is meeting our regulatory Requirements for both the State and Federal Government.
