Background

In November 2016, the City of Amarillo and the AEDC initiated a partnership to develop an Economic Development Strategic Plan for the community. This plan was developed through a comprehensive process led by Avalanche Consulting, in cooperation with Community Development Strategies — CDS, and was completed in August 2017. The plan was subsequently adopted by the City Council and the AEDC Board.
