The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funds are dedicated to neighborhood improvement projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents. Family Support Services Elevator Project — Fiscal Year 2022-2023

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded the rehabilitation of the existing elevator and elevator equipment in the new Family Support Services building.

Maverick Boys and Girls Club — Fiscal Year 2021-2022

The Maverick Boys and Girls Club received funding from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to address roof damages incurred due to inclement weather.

Warford Center — Fiscal Year 2020-2021

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) granted funding to The Warford for the enhancement of their HVAC system.

Another Chance House — Fiscal Year 2019 - 2020

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) allocated funds to Another Chance House for expanding their shelter by 800 square feet at 207 S Van Buren. Furthermore, the grant supported upgrades to the HVAC system and commercial kitchen at shelter 209 S Jackson.
