Public Health at Hillside Shoes 4 School

Description of event: This will involve people from all over the community coming to get ready for the beginning of the school year! Our Back to School Bash consists of two parts. The first part of what we do will be to distribute shoes to kids in need, this will happen inside the church. The second portion of the event will take place outside (this is where you’ll come in!). Outside we will host a fun family event with bouncy houses, rock wall, dunking booth, food and resources (you) for our families! All for FREE! This generally brings in over 300 families, and 1,000 people that we’ll be serving! We would love to offer these families as many resources as possible.
Amarillo Public Health will be onsite to provide:

Low-cost vaccines for adults and children (Non-Insured child or Medicaid. After 2 vaccines the cost is still $13.75)
Education and information on other resources available
