The VFW Post 1475 Auxiliary will be hosting the 2nd annual Texas Panhandle Veterans ball, to honor, celebrate, and remember our local veterans.

There will be an honorary tribute presentation for a local living legend, including a cash bar, dinner, live and silent auctions, professional photos with a decorative backdrop, live entertainment, and dancing.

Come and partake in a glamorous celebratory night of well-deserved recognition for our men and women that served and fought for the greatest country, The United States of America.

By request of the community, VFW Posts in the top 26 counties, and VFW Posts from New Mexico and Oklahoma we will be hosting our 2nd annual Veterans Ball Fundraiser on November 5^th, 2022, at the Amarillo Civic Center. My hope is to continue to make this an annual event for our Veterans in the community. A way of giving back and celebrating their heroic service to our Country. This event will provide a catered dinner by Youngbloods cafe and all entertainment for the evening, to include a Living Legend Tribute to one honorary local Veteran. We will have a live band, dance, and full cash bar for all patrons. The VFW Auxiliary uses all proceeds to pour back into our local community to help take care of Veterans and their families when a need arises. We help feed, clothe, and provide housing and furnishings to Veterans that have been homeless or misplaced due to fire or natural disasters. We provide scholarships for Veterans and their families who want to further their education. The Auxiliary embodies the spirit of America that has prevailed through war and peace. It is solidly behind America today as it was when it was founded. The VFW Auxiliary is an integral part of the VFW and supports a host of programs which pursue issues of national importance to veterans. These programs are designed to preserve veterans’ rights, advocate a strong national defense, promote patriotism, and offer community service.
