The appointment shopping we tried in January was popular and most participants enjoyed getting to shop in a smaller group, so we are going to do the April sale that way too.  Just like a typical sale, books and media will be priced by the bag at $7.50 per bag or 3 bags for $20, and you can spend your AMARILLO READS in the Summer vouchers as well. 
The sale will last three weeks starting Monday, April 4.  The first week will be open to Friends of the Amarillo Public Library Only.  The second week will be Open to the Public, and anyone may make an appointment that week.  The third week will be our Bargain Sale, so shoppers that week will be able to purchase books for $5 per bag.  Here's what the full schedule looks like:
Week One—(April 4 through 9)—Friends Only
Week Two—(April 11 through 16)—Open to the Public
Week Three—(April 18 through 23)—Bargain Week
