Blind Date with a Book

You have a few days left to participate in this year’s Blind Date with a Book!  Just visit any Library location and choose a book from the selection of paper wrapped books on display.  You won’t know the identity of your book until you’ve checked it out, but all the books have been selected from one of our BookNews book recommendation newsletters.  Return the entry form inside the book to be entered for a chance to win a grand prize—a $50 gift certificate—awarded to one lucky participant at each Library location.  You must be 18 years or older to participate, and only one “Blind Date” checkout is allowed per person, per day.  Books must remain wrapped until out of the library.  Drawings for the grand prizes will be held the morning of February 11, so all entries must be turned in by the time the Library closes on February 10.
