Beans & Cornbread Luncheon with keynote speaker Larry Gatlin

This luncheon is based on the reality that one can sustain on a meal of “beans and cornbread”. Each year the Beans and Cornbread Committee partners with Desperado’s catering where Owner, Richard Dyer provides the lunch for the cost of food. Each year, the need becomes greater to assist those who are struggling to feed themselves and their families, keep their homes or to find safe shelter. The Beans and Cornbread luncheon is a kick off for the Interfaith Campaign for the Homeless (ICH) which receives guidance from the Amarillo Coalition for the Homeless, a network of providers …and individuals who provide homeless services to those in need.
