Description of event: The goal of this event is to offer resources for families as families prepare for back to school. Our approach will be different from other back to school events, but we believe we will meet a need that isn’t being currently met. Our focus will be to provide hygiene products like soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, hair grooming items, dental hygiene items, other needed products. Along with these items, we would like vendors to promote their respective services.
Amarillo Public Health will be onsite to provide:
Low-cost vaccines for adults and children (Non-Insured child or Medicaid. After 2 vaccines the cost is still $13.75)
Education and information on other resources available
