The City of Amarillo provides roll-off containers at convenient locations to meet the community’s need for bulky item and excess trash disposal. These large, open-top containers are exclusively for residential use and help residents manage waste that doesn’t fit in regular dumpsters or trash carts.

Roll-off containers are open-top containers, the size of three regular-sized dumpsters, and can be utilized for bulky items and excess trash that cannot fit in dumpsters or trash carts.

  • Eastridge Elementary School Park, 1314 Evergreen St
  • Hines Memorial Park, 1300 NW 20th Avenue

Roll-off locations are subject to change based on need and to service neighborhood and community cleanup efforts.

As a reminder, the City also provides free curbside collection services and residents may also utilize the City landfill at no charge for large household waste.

About Translations on Amarillo.gov

The City of Amarillo offers translations of content on Amarillo.gov through the Google Translate web translator (translate.google.com). Because Google Translate is an external service, the City does not control the quality or accuracy of translated content.   1. Hover over any text containing an error, and a pop-up box will appear.
  2. Click “Contribute a better translation.”
  3. Double-click the area of the pop-up that says “Click a word for alternative translations, or double-click to edit directly.”
  4. Make your edits directly in the text box.
  5. Press “Contribute” to submit your suggested changes.
