In recognition of National Latino HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, the City of Amarillo’s Public Health Department’s HIV Prevention Team is hosting a Zumbathon.

Zumbathon, which includes a resource/health fair, is scheduled for Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Amarillo Civic Center North Exhibit Hall, 401 S. Buchanan St. The event is free and open to the public.

Free screenings will be available for HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis C, along with blood pressure, blood sugar and osteoporosis screenings. Additional screenings are available.

Zumbathon is made possible by the City of Amarillo’s Public Health Department, partnering with Haven Health and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
