ACT-Connect™ Overview
ACT-Connect — paratransit services — provides great public transportation service, with an emphasis on reliability and connectivity to wherever passengers day-to-day destinations take them.
ACT-Connect Application
- The application must be filled out completely.
- The release of information form requires the passenger’s signature.
- The physician’s form must be filled out by a qualified medical professional familiar with your disability.
- After completing the application, please call to schedule a time for an interview and to submit your application. If necessary, you can request a complimentary round-trip ride to the ACT offices.

Schedule
Operated by Amarillo City Transit Monday through Saturday, except holidays, between 6:20 am and 6:25 pm.
Reservation hours are 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Saturday. Reservations for Monday service may be left on the answering service on Sundays. Messages will be returned with your pick up times.

Buy Transit Passes Online
Amarillo City Transit is excited to announce that riders can conveniently buy Fixed Route passes and ACT-ConnectTM tickets online! Purchase your passes today on the new payment portal.
Digital payment options include credit card, debit card, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Purchased tickets will be mailed directly to you via the U.S. Postal Service. Please allow a few days for mailing.

Transit reasonable modification policy
Trained operators are available to assist passengers at the curb. Assistance does not include carrying objects for passengers. All vehicles are specially designed with wheelchair lifts and four-point securement devices.
