Winners Announced for Every Drop Counts Poster Contest

AMARILLO –  Young artists who captured the significance of Amarillo’s most precious resource – water – were honored at Tuesday’s city council meeting.

In what has become an Amarillo tradition, the winners of the Every Drop Counts (EDC) Poster Contest were announced.

The EDC Poster Contest is an annual event allowing young artists from kindergarten through high school to use their artistic talents to show the importance of water conservation in the Amarillo community.

The overall grand prize winner was Emma Borron.

The monthly winners were Annabella Sanchez (January); Lydia Stoughton (February); Ellone Burkett (March); Viviana Hemmerich (April); Britt Finsterwald (May);  Jasper Lewis (June); Emilee Rosprim (July); Snyder Crouch (August); Violet Hernandez (September); Jackie Lewis (October); Kinsley Cate (November); Bea Crouch (December).
