ANTC Recognizes Sectional Champions

AMARILLO –  A men’s tennis team that calls the Amarillo National Tennis Center home will compete for a national championship.

The team recently captured the Men’s 4.0 2024 USTA League Sectional Championship, defeating teams from Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.

“It’s exciting to watch tennis players who consistently practice at our facility achieve a high level of success on a regional level,” said Amarillo National Tennis Center Manager Dustin Almond.  “We are incredibly proud of the team’s achievement and look forward to seeing them compete on a national level.”

Team members are William Manhkong; Isaac Reynolds; Tucker Haynes; Juan Pacheco; Aaron Schrick; Matt Coggins; Leonardo Martinez; Damon Wilson; David Eck; Jeff Flores and Taylor Vigil.

The team has qualified for the National Championships in Surprise, Arizona, which will be held from Oct. 18-20.
