COA Service Schedule Announced for Good Friday

In recognition of Good Friday, City of Amarillo (COA) offices will be closed on Friday (April 18).

The COA service schedule for the week:

  • City Hall and Amarillo Municipal Court will be closed Friday (April 18). Defendants may make payments via the municipal court website at: www.amarillo.gov/municipal-court/
  • All Amarillo Public Library locations will be closed Friday (April 18) through Sunday (April 20).
  • Amarillo City Transit will operate a modified schedule on Friday (April 18). For more information call (806) 378-3095 or go to: www.amarillo.gov/amarillo-city-transit/

The schedule for Solid Waste services:

  • Residential customers: Thursday routes will be collected Wednesday (April 16). Friday routes will be collected Thursday (April 17).
  • Commercial customers: Commercial service will not be available Friday (April 18). All routes will be collected Thursday (April 17) and Saturday (April 19).
  • Curbside customers: Curbside collection will not be available Friday (April 18). Curbside collection will resume Monday (April 21).
  • Landfill:  The landfill will be closed Friday and will reopen Saturday (April 19).
  • Brush sites: Brush sites will be closed Friday and will reopen Saturday (April 19).

Ross Rogers and Comanche Trail Golf Complexes will have normal hours of operation.

  4. Make your edits directly in the text box.
  5. Press “Contribute” to submit your suggested changes.
