COA Service Schedule Announced for MLK Jr. Day

In recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, City of Amarillo (COA) offices will be closed on Monday (January 20).

The COA service schedule for MLK Jr. Day: 

  • City Hall, all Amarillo Public Library locations and Amarillo Municipal Court will be closed Monday (January 20). Defendants may make payments via the municipal court website at www.amarillo.gov/municipal-court/

The schedule for Solid Waste services: 

  • Residential customers: Monday routes will be serviced on Tuesday (January 21) and Tuesday routes will be serviced on Wednesday (January 22).
  • Commercial customers: Monday routes will be serviced on Tuesday (January 21).
  • Landfill:  The landfill will be closed Monday and will reopen Tuesday (January 21).
  • Brush sites: Brush sites will be closed Monday and will reopen Tuesday (January 21).

Ross Rogers and Comanche Trail Golf Complexes will have normal hours of operation.
