Baseball Field Design Feedback

As the City of Amarillo and the Amarillo Local Government Corporation work with their architects and the baseball team owners on the design of the Multi-Purpose Event Venue (MPEV), they would like to hear your opinion of the general design style of the front entrance of the MPEV. Please rank your top three favorite drawings based on your opinion of the concept. This information, along with information gained from community meetings, will be used to assist the City in the final design of the MPEV. Thank you for your participation. Open House Scheduled for Design of MPEV

Amarillo, TX – The Amarillo Local Government Corporation (LGC) and Amarillo City Council are engaging with residents as the design for the Multi-Purpose Event Venue (MPEV) progresses. To help in that engagement, a community open house is scheduled for Tuesday August 15 at 1 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 509 S.E. 7th Ave.

The design architects and city staff will present design concepts prepared to-date and solicit comments and thoughts from attendees. Similar information will also be presented by the design architect at the Regular Meeting of the City Council that evening beginning at 5 p.m. Residents may also indicate their preference of the 14 conceptual façade designs by clicking on the link above and participating in a feedback poll.
