Amarillo, TX – In recognition of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, the City of Amarillo Public Health HIV Prevention Team is hosting a city-wide health fair on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Amarillo United Citizens Forum, 901 N. Hayden St.
Public Health is partnering with the Amarillo College Nursing department, Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Nursing, West Texas A&M University Nursing department, and St. John Baptist Church Health Sciences Committee to bring this free and open event to the public. Free HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis C testing along with blood pressure, blood sugar, and pulmonary function checks will be available. Adult immunizations will also be offered for $5.
